Woah. It's been a while.

I've decided I'm going to be MUCH, MUCH better about updating...
at least, I'll try to be. :)

So, let me sum up my life briefly:
-JUNIOR YEAR IS OVER. Thank goodness. Not too fun.
-I stopped year-round swimming and took up running. Let's just say I'm MUCH better at swimming than running haha. Suprisingly, I miss the pool a lot.
-Thanks to playing WAY too much Guitar Hero, I've started to listen to a lot more rock music. Kind of scary.
-My first real role in a show wasn't as glamorous as I imagined it to be.
-I'm having major Broadway withdrawl. hahaha, but I bet you knew that. I think I would easily give up one of my kidneys to see the LuPone revival of Gypsy.
-Recently, I lost my bootleg and SA virginity. Pure awesomeness.
-My social and love lives are not perfect...but I'm content with where they are.
-AH. COLLEGE APPLICATIONS. SUMMER READING. SAVE ME.

Except...I don't really know what to say. Ah, the irony of life.
Hm. It's Labor Day weekend...yay! And I don't have a whole lot of homework...so I'm just going to sit around and do nothing all weekend. It'll be pure bliss.
Junior year is insanely hard already and I've only had three weeks of school...nothing exciting is really happening. Oh, I'm kind of sick right now. Play tryouts are coming up fast. And I feel like I desperately need a new Broadway show to emerse myself in...I'm secretly hoping the cast recording for Xanadu comes out soon, because I have a feeling I'll love it. Mainly because Kerry Butler is my hero and Jackie Hoffman is a comedic genius.

Wow, my thoughts are scrambled right now. I think I need to go lie down..

I'm off to watch yet another America's Next Top Model marathon while procrastinating on homework. Luckily, it's my favorite cycle...the one with Nicole. =)

Hm. I think it's been a pretty long time since I've been here...

..yep. It definitely has.

So.

School's SO HARD. I hate it for that. I basically have no time for anything because of it.

Swimming is...frusterating. But the AHS season ends tomorrow...and then I'll keep up with Dynamo to stay in shape. I can't wait until summer workouts...

Orchestra is a butt. It's just really annoying right now.

I have the best friends anyone could ever ask for. =D

And musical theater keeps me sane. <3
Without it, my life would be so...empty.
Right now, I'm living for:
-Dreamgirls (Ok, it's the movie soundtrack. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to BE Jennifer Hudson)
-Phantom of the Opera (I know Tally hates me for this..but we're playing it in orchestra, and I'm getting back into it a little bit)
-Sweeney Todd (I can't get "Kiss Me" out of my head no matter how hard I try)
-[Title of Show]- NO DUH. Where has this show been my whole life!?!?!?
-I Love You Because- Being a total hopeless romantic, this show is...perfect to me. =)
And...I randomly just bought a song from Tarzan...and it's pretty good. ...is that REALLY bad?

Oh, and the Scrubs musical episode MAKES MY LIFE. =)

So. That's me. I'm off to finish my Chemistry homework, catch up on Ugly Betty, and then sleep!

School is too hard, swimming is too easy (arg), my friends are the best people on the face of this earth, play auditions are on Monday and Tuesday (!!!!!!!!), I got a date to Homecoming (squee!), I miss summer,I'm in love with Sweeney Todd icons....and...well, that's pretty much it.

I have to go do more homework (suprise suprise).

HOW CAN IT CLOSE!?!??! HOW IS THAT FREAKING POSSIBLE!?!? IT'S PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST WRITTEN MUSICALS ON BROADWAY AT THE MOMENT...AND IT'S CLOSING!??!!?!?!

I want to just kill someone. Literally. This was one the only Broadway shows I actually got to see in New York...and it was my first show with any full Original Broadway Cast.

Thank you world. Take away a special part of Broadway, the only constant comfort in my life. I really appreciate it.

HOLY CRAP. I do NOT want to go to school tomorrow. I'm going to miss laying around all day,listening to cast recordings, and seeing my friends. *sigh* I guess that's what weekends are for?
I watched the 2006 TONYS today, and cried my eyes out. Just because some of the speeches (especially Christian Hoff's...my goodness, I LOVE him now) and preformances got to me. I MISS JERSEY BOYS SOOO MUCH. Watching that number made me cry the hardest. It's pretty insane. I wish there was an online video of the whole show or something...=/ Seriously. If you find one, GET IT TO ME.

Wow...Live Journal is definitely a LOT more confusing than Xanga, that's for sure. I don't even know if anyone will read this...I guess I need a place for me to really rant about how I feel AND let out some of my theater-loving-obsessiveness, since most of my friends can't stand it. Should be fun! =)

Maybe I can meet some Broadway-loving people too! Could be fun.
